Biography

Since 1997 Art Lounge International has enjoyed a working relationship with master artist Hamish

Hamish Blakely was born in Canterbury and developed an interest in art from an early age.

He studied illustration at Wimbledon School of Art and completed his degree at Kingston University shortly after which he became a professional illustrator.

Hamish's unique vision and skilful rendering of romantic  figurative pieces bring the iconic artworks back to life in a language the 21st century can understand.

From classical to the commercial, internationally recognised  painter Hamish explores contemporary culture in his latest range of work. The thought provoking body of work comprises the overtures of old masters. 

Art Lounge International have enjoyed over a decade representing his paintings in Royal Leamington Spa.
