Jorge Bellver, known as Velviche or Vilche's in the art world, was born in Valencia in 1959. When he was a child, the family moved to Madrid where he studied in the Fine Art School. When he completed his studies he embarked upon a career as a technical drawing before transferring to technical drawing for illustration and decoration in 1985.

Joining the Agrupacion Espanola de Acuararelistas (Watercolour Spanish Association) in 1992 he then decided to paint full time. In 1995 he had his first solo exhibition in Valencia and never looked back. We have any examples of his works available to view in our Leamington spa gallery.
